First off we have to start with Alto's Adventure. It's one of the role playing games from the past year or so, and you have to try it.  This is an endless runner style game similar to Temple Run, but you'll be snowboarding down huge mountains, collecting gear, running into llamas, and having a blast. This game took the iOS world by storm in 2015 and is still going strong. It will keep you busy for hours on end, and maybe a little frustrated. Clash is simple. It's like an offense and defensive tower-defense game with a strategy twist. You build a huge village, upgrade troops and walls, and attack enemies. You can participate in Clan Wars, Clan Games, or start a second village on an island too. I try to avoid most smartphone games, but can't get enough of Clash.

Fast like a Fox was one of the Google Play Games award nominees for Best India Game, and most innovative. While it's a style we've all seen before, it has unique twists and turns, is easy to play yet hard to master, and a very casual game. If you've ever played Temple Run or Mario Brothers, you'll feel right at home.

It's a side-scrolling endless runner where a fast fox runs through obstacles, jumps over things and collects gold, coins, and diamonds. Rush your way through cloud temple, snow-covered valleys, mountain tops, fiery caves, subways and city highways await you!

The best part of the game is the innovative controls. Owners can push and hold the screen to run and jump like any other game, or tap the back of the device. Wait, what? Using troops and characters from Clash of Clans (and then some) players will battle against others in real-time and try to outplay or outsmart their opponent. Take down a few towers and win the battle. Then earn chests to unlock more cards, collect them all, and upgrade troops.

Those who played and loved Monument Valley from 2014 will want to try Maestria. Released in late 2015 for $2 and free as of 2016, this puzzle game is fun, relaxing, and exciting all at the same time.

It's a 3D puzzle game where players must wander around a floating level and ring bells in the correct order to unlock more, and eventually beat the level. It's simple, yet difficult at times where you must think a little, but loads of fun.

This puzzle game may not have tons of features, but there are over 160 fun and challenging levels, and you have to try the Train world. It feels like a knockoff of Monument Valley in a way, but with its own spin on things, which is refreshing and fun. This is a casual and free game worth trying.

Similar to Alto's Adventure or the hit game Badlands is a title called Bad Roads 2. It's like both, with a lot of similarities as Badland although it has a completely different twist.

This is another endless side-scrolling game, but it has a unique color scheme and users will play Ted who's transporting some ducks in a truck. You'll have to successfully navigate your vehicle without dropping a single duck cage, which isn't nearly as easy as it sounds.

It has calm and peaceful sound effects, good graphics, and tons of fun levels to keep you entertained for hours on end. There isn't much to it, but we don't need much either. This is a casual game, after all.

Game Casual for Android- Blek is unlike anything you've ever played before. Unless you tried it after Google gave it a few awards over the years. It's not a new game, but such a piece of art it had to be included.

Blek has players drawing lines or gestures on the screen, and if done right, that same gesture floats down the screen and connects dots to pass the level. It sounds odd, but you'll understand after watching their video. It's like making art, playing a relaxing game, and challenging your brain all at in one. Some have called it a stroke of genius, and it won multiple awards in the best casual game category.

Basically, players must shape a line, that if done right will collect all the dots later down the screen. It uses skill and thought processes unlike anything else, and is a beautiful masterpiece yet extremely simple. It's amazing how fun this little game is.

Auralux: Constellations

Auralux was an amazingly simple, fun, calm, yet addicting and difficult RTS game that was released back in 2012 and many players loved it. It takes Real Time Strategy like Starcraft and makes it as dead simple as possible, with little circles that emit units around them, and users have to use serious strategy to take over other worlds in the galaxy. It's hard to explain, but still one of my favorite casual games of all times.

Released in 2016 is a newer version, Auralux: Constellations. It's bigger, better, more exciting, and has support for multiplayer and Android TV. This is probably one of the most relaxing casual games you will ever play. There's something about the sound beating to the troops on the screen that's relaxing.

Piano Tiles 2

Piano Tiles has continued to be one of the most popular and addicting casual games around. What makes it great is how easy it is at first, but gets increasingly more difficult. Not only that, but it's so simple that even the youngest of children can play and enjoy it too. There are songs they know, ones they don't, and it's tons of fun.

Piano Tiles 2 is better than the first one (Don't Touch the White Tile) and has improved sound, not to mention it's just as easy or hard. It never gets old and is extremely addictive. You basically play the Piano by only hitting the black tiles as they fall from the screen similar to Tetris, only faster. It's all about being fast, accurate, and having the perfect timing to make the song sound right.
